27 workers faint after gas leakage

Twenty-seven workers of PTT Chemical Public Company Limited (PTTCH) reportedly became unconscious after gas leaked from a factory located in Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate in Rayong on Friday.

It is still unclear where the leakage came from, but public relations officers of PTTCH said the problem does not come from the company.

The workers were rushed to Rayong and Ban Chang hospitals. Two of them are put on respiratory machines.
